Hi Artem,
I’ve been experimenting with SerialKeyManager Web API and I believe the option to de-register (de-activate) a machine code could be interesting. It would allow a client to “transfer” a license to a different computer by deactivating the serial in his current computer and re-activating it in another one.
Keep the great work!
Augusto
Hi Augusto,
Thank you for your feature suggestion! The ability to de-register/activate keys is really handy, and I will definitely add it.
In terms of a time frame, at this point I can tell that Web API support will be added first of all, and later some sort of user interface. For the Web API, I think it should not take more than a week, although I will know it for sure tomorrow.

Hi Artem,
Having Web API support will be fantastic. Right now, for a (basic) application like the one I’m creating for testing licensing, license transfer (by the client) is really the only thing that I’m not able to address at this time…
Regards,
Augusto
Hi Augusto,
I would like to let you know that the deactivation functionality is now added to SKM. The documentation has not yet been updated, but if you would like to try it out, simply replace ‘activate’ in the request (…/ext/activate/?uid=…) with ‘deactivate’.

API documentation can be found at: http://docs.serialkeymanager.com/web-api/deactivation/
Hi Augusto,
Please let me know if you would have any questions!
