Implement SKGL API into your application

Warning: It’s better to use the Key Activation/Validation function in the Web API as it does not require you to store the password inside the client application.

In order to validate serial keys that you have generated in Serial Key Manager, you need to do as following:

  1. Download SKGL API:
    1. if you use VB.NET you can easily integrate the vb.net code into you project: https://skgl.codeplex.com/releases/view/107300
    2. if you use C#, you can integrate the C# version of the code: https://skgl.codeplex.com/releases/view/116673
  2. Add it as a reference to your project or download it using Nuget PM> Install-Package SKGL.
    1. Open your project in Visual Studio
    2. In the top menu, select Project > Add Reference…
    3. In the Add Reference window, select the Browse tab, and then open the SKGL Library (SKGL.dll)
    4. Done!
  3. Add following code inside a method that is to validate the key (it can be a button press event, etc):

Code A: only validation

In Visual Basic:

In Visual C#:

Code B: additional information

If you want to get additional information such as creation date, expiration date and time left, please add this code after Code A.

In Visual C#:
